The Only Passenger Aboard A Cargo Freighter Container Ship Across the Pacific Ocean

Instead of going cross-country when moving back to New York from Portland, I went the long way 'round the world, and started by taking a cargo container ship from Vancouver to Busan. There was no buffet line or magic show on this cruise, folks. I wrote up a little tale of this slow mode of travel for The Hairpin with some tidbits of my life at sea.
